Meaning ripe in French, you can’t eat fresher or more sustainable salads than at this restaurant in the 2nd arrondissement. Its ingredients come from its own farm located near Paris or from local or nearby culinary artisans. Its menu, including a number of salads, varies depending on what’s ripe for the picking.

Maison Plisson
Known for sourcing top quality ingredients from smaller producers, you’ll have nothing but the best seasonal vegetables, fruit, cheeses or meats on your plate at la Maison Plisson. They have a lovely terrace on the Marché Saint-Honoré square and another venue in the Upper Marais. After you’ve feasted on their innovative salads, duck into their shop to pick up some ingredients to make your own at home.
Cali Sisters
Inspired by the good vibes of California, this hip restaurant serves up delicious frenchified West Coast cuisine. The menu varies between its two locations – one in the 2nd and the other in the 10th, but always includes a few tasty salads.
Maisie Café
For a creative vegan salad, make your way to this healthy cantine in the 1st. Changing regularly and in accordance with the seasons, you can augment your vitamin dose by pairing your salad with one of their made-in-house juices. Envelop yourself in more nature by enjoying your lunch in the nearby Tuileries Gardens.
Bagnard
Trained at the prestigious Ecole Ferrandi and a former participant of Top Chef, it isn’t surprising that Yoni Saada’s salade niçoise is often considered the best in Paris. This renowned salad is in good company with a number of other original, Mediterranean-inspired salads.
L’Atelier Saisonnier
If you’d rather decide what goes into your salad, then make your way to this eatery with locations in the 9th and 11th. At lunchtime you pick out your base, toppings, and dressing from a wide selection of seasonal ingredients.
